WATCH THE CHAOS

Rev 18:11-17

11 "The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their cargoes any more— 12 cargoes of gold, silver, precious stones and pearls; fine linen, purple, silk and scarlet cloth; every sort of citron wood, and articles of every kind made of ivory, costly wood, bronze, iron and marble; 13 cargoes of cinnamon and spice, of incense, myrrh and frankincense, of wine and olive oil, of fine flour and wheat; cattle and sheep; horses and carriages; and bodies and souls of men. 14 "They will say, 'The fruit you longed for is gone from you. All your riches and splendor have vanished, never to be recovered.' 15 The merchants who sold these things and gained their wealth from her will stand far off, terrified at her torment. They will weep and mourn 16 and cry out: "'Woe! Woe, O great city, dressed in fine linen, purple and scarlet, and glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls! 17 In one hour such great wealth has been brought to ruin!'

Is there any doubt about the great prostitute the city of Babylon? No matter what the scholars of old think, we are not going to be convinced. She is the world economy. When it collapses as we saw the leaders of world in all dismay, we know see all the merchants of the earth weeping and mourning over this collapse because they will have lost everything, they great empires of business will be crushed. Wal-Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, Target, even Golfsmith, oh no, not Golfsmith, will be crushed. The stock market will take such a crash all the wealth of the business community will be gone. There will be a rush to gather as much of the existing goods as possible. The shelves will be bare in a matter of hours, including the grocery shelves of Wal-Mart, Meyers, Kroger, Jewel, if you live in Illinois, and any other chain such as Publix in Florida. All gone, empty, out of business as all their riches and splendor have vanished. The world will be in chaos. There will be no calm assurance the government is going to take care of you. It will be every person for themselves. With all their wealth gone, all their stored up wealth, their retirement accounts, their IRA’s their Roth IRA’s, their stocks and yes even their gold, will be worthless now as the world leaders can do nothing about it, and all the businesses are nearly finished and ready to close their doors in an effect to save themselves, but more chaos will ensure. If they close their doors some people will simply break in as we saw in Boston just in August of 2015. Looting all the rest of goods, food and medicine that was not bought up before they closed their doors. Mankind will not understand that God is at work trying to show them he is their salvation. This is coming and it may be here at any moment in time. According to some of the greatest minds who research the scriptures, all prophesies have been fulfilled in order for Jesus to return for his people, and the beginning all of this chaos upon the people of the world, those who refuse to acknowledge God. Jesus could show up any moment, any day or night. He will come as a thief in the night, when no one is expecting him. When the world is saying peace and everything is simply alright, we are wealthy, we have provided for ourselves, we are making headway in making this world a better place, at least for the leaders, and the wealthy ones. The world economy has never been better, then bang! Here it comes, all the chaos, the seven trumpets, the seven bowls of God’s wrath, and now all this economic disaster. It is just about over. The world of man’s making is about to be finished once and for all. What can we learn? It seems obvious. Have nothing to do with it. Stay as far away for it as possible. Now on the other hand, there are those who are trying to sell survival foods. They have some sense of what is to come, but are using that to their own advantage, to gather more wealth for themselves. The truth is there will be no survivors thus no need for survival food. True some might make it a few more days then those who starve to death before the end truly comes, but all will perish as God destroys this whole earth with fire from on high. We need nothing but Jesus. We need not store up wealth, for it can and will vanish in an hour. We need not store up food or water, as when all that vanishes we will either already be with our Lord, or know that our salvation is near. Those of us who love the Lord have nothing to fear from him. We are in the palm of his hand, he will never let go of us. He has given us the Holy Spirit as a guarantee of that. Although the world may be shaken to its core, we will never be shaken. Although the world will experience the total opposite of peace, pure chaos, we have complete peace, because we have Jesus. He told us:

John 14:25-27

25 "All this I have spoken while still with you. 26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

We have no need of worry or anxiety, our hearts never have to be troubled nor do we have to fear. Jesus has already given us all the peace we will ever need. This is pure joy, pure contentment, pure relaxation and rest. Even if we are still here when all this happens, we have no need to be concerned, for Jesus is our salvation. We can simply sit back in the everlasting arms of Jesus and watch all the chaos. But if we are already gone, and are in fact in the everlasting arms of Jesus in heaven with him, we can still sit back and watch all the chaos. Will they ever repent?
